FOSTER CARE INTEREST MEETING
JANUARY 25 IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL
Christian Homes and Family Services invites you to an informational meeting at Southern Hills on Sunday, January 25, after worship in the North Fellowship Hall. The meeting is designed for individuals and families interested in learning more about foster care and how they can support children in need within our community. Attendance to the meeting is informational only, and no commitment is required. Please prayerfully consider how you can help give these children a Christian home and the love and support they desperately need.
MARRIAGE SEMINAR
JANUARY 31 AT THE DOUBLE TREE CONVENTION CENTER
Couples are invited to attend the Abilene Marriage Seminar featuring Dr. Heidi Morris on January 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center. This one-day seminar is designed to encourage, equip, and strengthen marriages and is open to couples throughout Abilene and the Big Country. The event is hosted by University Church of Christ. Mother-Son night
FEBRUARY 16 AT FREE PLAY ABILENE
Moms and sons—join us for a fun night out at Free Play Abilene, a retro arcade where you pay for your entry at the door and then enjoy unlimited games all night long. We’ll have a party room set up just for our group as a home base to hang out, laugh, and make memories together. Our event will take place at Free Play, 250 Cypress, on February 16 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Cost is $__ per person, and you can pay at the door.
LADIES’ CONNECTION
FEBRUARY 19 AT HANNER RANCH
All ladies are invited to a wonderful dinner and uplifting evening on February 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hanner Party Barn. Shannon Wilburn will be speaking to our gathering about “Family Vision Planning." In addition, desserts will be provided by our own Elsie Stark! Use the link below to register.
Sweetheart Banquet
FEBRUARY 22 AT SOUTHERN HILLS
Each year, our high school students host a banquet for our senior adults, called the Sweetheart Banquet. This year’s banquet is scheduled for Sunday night, February 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Senior adults can sign-up by clicking the button below and filling out the online form. You can also call Brenda in the church office at 325-692-2670. The event is free!
